Opportunity School is…
a nonprofit organization in Amarillo, Texas, created in 1969 by volunteers to address a community need – children who lacked basic learning skills and experiences entered school unprepared for academic achievement, and many never caught up to their peers.  Opportunity School has been able to provide 3,000 young at-risk children with opportunities to learn and grow over the past 38 years. 

Opportunity School provides…
excellent education and care during the early years – from birth to five – primarily to children from low-income families.
